not bad but immediate compressions are more for a witnessed arrest or a cardiac arrest suspected to be cardiac in aetiology

post immersion etc ventilations prior to compressions more advisable , child more hypoxic in aetiology therefore ventilations possibly a higher priority

I have only been training first aid since 1985 , my background Para advanced care , ex Medic defence force , diver medical technician RAH hyperbaric medicine , sports trainer / fitness leader / heli rescue / master scuba instructor /eiling instructor etc lets complicate the well learned drabc lets de emphasise airway mgt oxygenation hope to god we don t make it any simpler standard any lower lets sit back have a cigarette and wait . what about the narcotic o/d in resp arrest good cardiac output he gets chest compressions anyway WE CONDUCTED FAR SUPERIOR COURSES 20 YEARS AGO LETS DO IT TO THE LOWEST STANDARD I AM AWARE OF THE CURRENT THEORIES VERY FAMILIAR INDEED 30 @ 100 MAINTAIN BP GREATER THAN 100 MMHG AND NEGATIVE INTRA THORACIC PRESSURE TO ENHANCE CARDIAC FILLING L VENTRICLE HOWEVER GOOD WEBSITE
